Neuropsych Evals:

ADHD, Learning & Memory, Brain Injury, Cognitive Impairments

The work of a clinical neuropsychologist is to understand you - and not just a condtiion or diagnosis. Problems including ADHD, learning disorders, Alzeimer’s Dementia, concussions and medically caused disorders are objectively evaluated. We work closely with your referring physician to assess the behavioral & psychological effects of medical & neurologic injury e.g., (stroke, traumatic brain injury), severe medical illness or other central nervous system (CNS) disorder. A neuropsychologist collects information about the patient with a clinical history which includes medical, surgical, neurological, developmental and psychosocial aspects which may play a parent in the current presenting difficulties.  We use standard of care cognitive and psychological tests. Diagnosis is based on clinical information and testing and not just a brief interview. Tech supported platforms are used to evaluate: Intellectual functioning, attention & concentration, visual-spatial abilities, verbal and visual memory, motor, sensory, expressive language, planning and organizing abilities as well as emotional and behavioral functioning. More specifically, neuropsychologists often provide neuropsychological  evaluation of neurocognitive status due to concussion, mild traumatic brain injury, moderate to severe brain injury, work related injuries, as well as developmental neuro-diverse conditions such as Asperger’s/ASD.

Our services are informed by extensive experience and professionalism for every patient we see. Although the evaluations are quite standard, the application of our services are sensitive to the uniqueness of each individuals’ needs and concerns.

Dr. English, a board certified neuropsychologist, has been in clinical practice over 25 years.
